Our Private Suites and Cottages offer a luxurious getaway and cozy seclusion. Located outside of the Main Inn building, these rooms offer space, privacy, comfort and of course stunning views of Vermont’s natural beauty. For a romantic getaway, we highly recommend these beautiful rooms.
This is a large upper level suite with sunny yellow walls and pretty décor. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, along with lots of comfortable seating, including a pull-out sofa. The canopied king bed and chaise lounge contribute to the romantic atmosphere in the bedroom. There is a separate make-up vanity/dressing area off the bedroom, and a separate tub and glass enclosed shower in the private bathroom. The covered porch deck is the perfect lounging place to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon iced tea.
Originally sheep stalls and summer housing in the property’s long ago life as a working farm, the Cider House building is now home to three guest rooms on three different floors. The entrance to Cider House 2 is a short walk from the parking area up through the breezeway, and to the right. This is a suite, with a separate living room which overlooks the Inn’s outdoor pool, and has a wood-burning fireplace. A beautiful canopied antique king brass bed romanticizes the bedroom. The large private marble-floored bath has a jetted tub and separate shower.
One of our most requested accommodations, the Wood Shed is a private cottage that exudes romance. The cathedral ceiling over the king bed, the wood-burning fireplace opposite the foot of the bed, the floor to ceiling windows with views of the ponds and surrounding woods... all contribute to the very special ambiance of this cottage. There is a large bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and glass enclosed shower adjacent to the walk-in closet. In the summer, the private deck is the perfect place for morning coffee or early evening champagne. In the winter, the Wood Shed becomes a cozy hideaway as you snuggle by the fire and admire the beauty of nature outside your windows. If you happen to be traveling with a child, they’ll be cozy as well in their own twin bed in the upstairs loft. Pets can also be accommodated in this room.
A spacious and romantic king-bedded private cottage tucked into a small hillside, the most eye-catching feature of the Spring House’s interior is the beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Two sitting areas provide the utmost in comfort, with down-filled cushions and perfect lighting. Views from the windows to the ponds and the tree-covered hills beyond provide a feeling of contentment. The bathroom is also spacious, with a jetted tub, separate shower and double vanities. The private deck outside is the perfect place to relax with a cool drink on a warm summer day. Pets can also be accommodated in this room.
This is a large and lovely upper-level king-bedded room in the duplex cottage next to the far pond.
