Located in the Main House, our Classic Inn Rooms are in the same building as the living rooms & library, the dining rooms and the copper-topped bar. Classic Inn Rooms all include private bath and are available with either two double beds or one large bed.
This is a lovely and light-filled room at the end of the lower guest room corridor. The white painted ceiling beams add to the room’s appeal, as does the wall of windows looking out onto the center courtyard. Its location makes it one of the quieter rooms, and allows easy access out the back door to the breezeway… just a short walk from the courtyard, gazebo or pool. Two double beds (with private bath) make it the perfect choice for friends traveling together.
This is a uniquely lovely room, with private bath, on the upper level of the Main House. From the beautiful period furniture, including marble-topped tables and an antique secretary desk, to the delicately draped wall swags above the two double beds, no detail has been overlooked in this room’s furnishing… it’s absolutely overflowing with charm! Watch the wall-mounted flat screen TV from your bed, or enjoy cookies and coffee while playing games or watching TV in the Library, which is just outside the room and around the corner.
Country charm abounds in this upper level room, with its high four-poster queen sized bed, cut-out lampshades, plaid chair upholstery, and barn door closet. With mostly white walls, it is a bright and cheery room. An original work of art, in the form of a hand-painted mural of a Vermont country scene, adorns the wall above the double vanity in the private bath.
The playful mix of floral and striped wallpapers creates strong visual appeal in this lovely king-bedded room with private bath on the upper floor. Add to that the white painted exposed hand-hewn beams, rose-colored carpet and handcrafted wall wreath, and the spell is complete… This room will capture your heart from the moment you walk through the doorway!
This is a very pretty king bedded room with private bath on the upper level of the Main House. The large window on the end wall lets in plenty of light if you feel like curling up in the club chair to read a good book. Better yet, go through the French doors and out onto your own private balcony, where you can admire the white birch next to the railing, or the view of the surrounding hillsides.
This quiet, king-bedded, upper-level room with private bath will delight you with its light yellow sponge-painted walls, and pretty pink, green and yellow fabrics. The dormered ceiling adds to the character of the room, and for some, may bring back memories of nights spent at Grandma’s country house. The large end window overlooks the center courtyard, which is easily accessible by the back stairway just across from the entry door.
